At Japhet Maternal Health Foundation, we understand the importance of compassionate care. Our mission is to help reduce preventable maternal health risks and deaths by providing families access to quality reproductive health services, education, safe deliveries, family planning, and a sense of community.
The Foundation
The Japhet Maternal Health Foundation was established in loving memory and honor of the founder’s late mother, whose surname, Japhet, was chosen to carry forward her name and legacy through a mission dedicated to saving lives. The organization was created out of a deep commitment to improving maternal health and addressing the preventable risks and deaths that affect women and families, particularly in underserved communities. Through partnerships with maternal health clinics in Senegal, West Africa, the foundation works to protect the lives of all mothers and build healthier futures for generations to come.
